A Letter From Dewi Masrina
My journey on using the Asia beauty products began when I started exploring the Korean skincare regime. I used to be a drugstore/western beauty junkie, up until the K-wave hits on me, when I started my research on the best Korean skincare. My curiosity got bigger that it led me to travel to South Korea to deepen my interest. There, it was like a whole new world to me, where I learned that the beauty philosophy should be approached skin-first, then makeup. My own experience with the K-beauty made me a firm believer in its benefits and I started to wonder why I have not given our Asia beauty products a chance.
From South Korea, I travelled to Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia, in my quest to learn about their beauty industry. I was amazed and overwhelmed by the great quality products available in their market. The only issue I had was that I was unable to find a central online platform which curates all these wonderful Asia beauty products. This led me to found Cosmos Make & Beauty in 2018. Since then, I have been actively testing out makeup and skincare products from Asia, to bring the best quality to you.
My hope is that learning and discovering about Asia beauty products will change the way you perceive about local products. It’s an exciting feeling knowing that you are able to find quality products that are of international standards, at a reasonable price! I hope you will join the community of supporting local brands.
